What is a safe boost level?

what is a safe boost level for my car, i have 82k miles on it

7 psi, with 10 at the track. Some run much higher, some lower.

It's up to you. Our cars hold boost well, but only if you appropriately do PCV mods and safety mods (plugs, fuel, etc.). Otherwise you're asking for trouble!

id say 5-6 ive never heard a problem with that on a stock car BUT you have to run premium fuel.

i agree with wicked run 7 normally and 10 at the track.

boost is safe as long as you do the supporting mods.

with boost detonation is you worst enemy. as long as you keep that under control you should be alright.

5 if you go any higher you need Methanol injection or Nitrous or you will detonate a piston or somthing bad like that

lol..uhhh..as i say a lot..i ran 6 psi on a powerdyne kit for 4 months with nothing but the blower bolted on and premium fuel (no FMU or timing retard)..only added the FMU later to run it with nitrous..and yes..just like nitrous..the only "SAFE" amount of boost is 0

Methanol is good if octane rating is not good enough and you want to advance your timing and increase boost.

Nitrous is also boost according to Corky Belle. Probably not a good idea unless you tune for both power adders.
