do i need to use a seperate radiator system or is the water from the standard radiator cool enough to keep the flaming hot turbo under control.

heh...your gonna be tired of hearing about DSM's from me soon...LOL

on my DSM I have the turbo's water system tapped off the engines cooling system. What I did is I spliced into the heater core supply line. It;s just the easiest way for that paticular car....could be for f-bodys too because the turbo needs a similar sized line as the heater core lines.

And considering you can run a turbo without it being watercooled I think it'll be just fine. I don't know how are cooling system would handle the adtional heat though...but I'm willing to bet that would be fine too.

I taped the rear of the (3.4L) intake manifold where there are water passages that don't get used. So that I can drive the coolant through the turbos from the pressure side of the coolant system to the non pressure side.
I taped them with 1/4'' NTP for 6AN fittings. Ther is one tap for each turbo from the L and R side of the engine.
What I was going to do after there installed was put a temp gauge where the lines come together after the turbos before it renters the coolant system so if it is to hot I can put a cooler in line before the turbos so the coolant can enter the turbos a little bit cooler.
The water from the radiator won't heat them up any that's for sure.
