Just curious... would a SC AND turbo work on a 3.8 F body?

Do you mean like stacking them? Like having the SC feed the turbo. It could be done, would it be practical..no...and would it fit under the hood of an f-body...probably not. I'm sure it could be done. I've heard people are doing it to Cobalt SS's (the supercharged ones, not the sh*tty badged base models...) It doesn't neccesarily mean the engine would have to be built to hell either. You could just use the supercharger set for 6 psi, for off the line power, and then when the turbo spools, only have it set for about 5 psi at 4000 (or whatever) rpm. How are you gonna just "turn down" a supercharger at a certain RPM? I believe you can either supercharge or turbo a stock 3.8 to its limit... why would you want both?\'98 Camaro V6<br />Appearance... pleasing<br />Performance... just a little extra air.Comment

you can do it with a roots blower and a turbo.... only problem is the roots blower does not fit in our RWD car.
