I would like some educated opinions on proper fuel delivery for an intercooled 9 PSI (300 HP) build up. The stock L36 injectors are 22# and the L67 are 36#, which are more than adequate. I believe I need at least 32# for this application. My question is this, should I keep the 22# and use an FMU or simply replace them for 32# or 36# without an FMU but with a more adequate pump. I'm not sure what the consequences of either choice will be.

If you swap the injectors, you will need to reprogram your ecm. It can make changes for normal driving (to a degree), but WOT will not be affected by the O2 sensor corrections.
If its easy to reprogram your ecm, then go w/ bigger injectors and !FMU. Otherwise, i'd go with an FMU.
Personally, i think the best option is to get a ECM and wiring harness out of a GTP. That system is made for boost.

It might be hard to swap in GTP PCM, because I think the TB is different than ours, and the PCM has something to do w/ it's operation. It would be better to look at possibly slightly larger injectors, such as 24's, and also use a FMU and bigger In-tank fuel pump. the computer can handle learing the 24's, but not 32's or 36's. it'll throw an SES light. You could possible train the computer up to 36 lb. injectors but working your way up 22-24-26-28, ect till u reach 32 or 36, but it'll be a big waste of cash 2 do it that way, in my opinion.2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
