• update on my powerdyne install

Its been a while.. but i think i have collected all the parts i need to replace all of the stock spacers with this stainless steel that i found that was pretty reasonable priced considering it was a custom job.. i got 2 feet for about $50 and it is within a few thousandths of the stuff that comes with the powerdyne kits.. not to mention is stainless and not mild steel.. so it will be pretty and not rust..

I have 3 feet of M10x1.5 thread rod on the way as well.. also STAINLESS!! and it was like $7 or something.. so thats hella cool..

and then!!

I found a reallllllly cheep source for mandrel bends!! I have yet to talk to them.. but as long as they are cool their prices are AWSOME!! 3" 16 guage 90 degree ALUMINUM BENDS!! for under $10!!

I was like.. god dam.. thats cheeper then mild steel bends from most places..

they also sell stainless bends and mild.. in any size you could ever want..

http://www.promical.com

their site kinda sucks.. but I shot them an email tonight.. I will let you know how it goes..

anyway.. looks like I may have it all setup in a few more weeks!! :D

yeah... they have yet to email me back though.. :(

Hopefully they will, that or I will call them tommarow..

if that doesent work out I will jsut buy about 10 feet of aluminum and get it bent localy..

rofl.. I am happy that i have been able to find better parts to use as replacments.. rather then the stockers.. or falling back on ghetto rigging it..

also this palce is AWSOME!! for 2 feet of spacer material.. $50 is a little expensive.. but it is stainless.. and it is the exact same size..

great for spacer material and stainless pipes of virtualy any size or wall thickness.. they have AWSOME customer service also.. there was a little delay on my part becuase they have to make it.. and they said it will ship on sendsday at the latest.. they called me before i even woke up on the next day.. i was like "yeah, ok, great" zonk right back to sleep..

that is where i got the stainless thread rod.. they specialize in stainless steel hardware.. pretty kick *** selection..

hmmm.. dammit.. the silence is making me crazy!!

I am sure they are still in buisness.. but like they have yet to email me back.. and they said they will respond in 4 hours or less.. and its been all day.. :(

they seem to still be active, they pay for advertising on google.. and they made a post in their news section only a month ago..

If you can't get what you need from there, this place might have those mandrel bends you need. www.airflo.com, I've ordered from them before and they sent me my stuff very quickly. Hope it helps!

Yeah, I have found a few places..
air flo's stuff is good kinda pricy.. and not stainless.. i want something i can leave un-finished that wont rust..

i and decided on going with this setup..

i am gunna get one stainless 3" ubend

butcher that to go from the blower and then shoot that up twards the TB.. then i am getting a custom silicone hose from a AWSOME new place HTS
High Tempature Silicon..

that will be a 3->3.5" 90 degree transitional elbow.. which will make life easy rather thne killing myself over that pipe..

HTS, BTW is only on EBAY for the time beaing.. their prices are AWSOME by comparsion to turbohoses.com, or sporthoses.com
and the product selection is better..

http://www.hightempsilicone.com/
website is still in the works, but you can find alot of their stuff on ebay

email their sales people, they are INSAINLY responcive and sent me a full price list with all the current products and the future ones, like the one i described above..

that hose i descibed above.. is like literaly over $90 on other sites.. i was like "f-that".. HTS's is like 50.. wich is expensive, but.. its that or fight another 90 degree pipe bend into that small area in front of the TB.. and then still need an transition coupler.. thus, i dont save myself any money doing it the hard way..
