The numbers aren't impressive by themselves except by the littel amount of boost it took to reach them. Ive made 336 rwhp/397 rwtq in the past with a much smaller turbo but it took 3 times more boost. </font>
No.. really. The bearings in my 2.8 are dying on 5 psi. I really need to find a 3.1 or 3.4 to play with :D
Tiago was your 290 hp with a open pipe off the turbo? Just wondering, what I could expect with exhaust on the car. Thanks, and excellent numbers for our cars. You are really accomplishing something with this turbo research and development. :D
Yes cut outs are a good thing for turbos.
I'm sticking the cut outs right on the flanges.
TT's with open exhaust, should be real loud.
I once had the down pipe fall off my tuck at work a, I6 416ci cummens turbo diesel with a big holeset turbo and all you could hear was the whine of the turbine.
In that case the turbine was louder than the sound of the open exhaust.

Hey Tiago, with the turbo kit for the series 2 3.8L motor, what was the average output in hp and tq with a stock non-modified engine. Also what is the boost level in psi? Thanks

mustang eater, I have developed an immunity to people that talk down on my car. Why argue? They will always have something to say, so just agree. I figure if i go all out. They will shut up and pray that I blow up my car up before I embarrass one of them.
Tiago, how well does the stock converter take the power from boost? Will it eat my tranny?
i'VE figured it out with jky trnany guys. sorry if this post if messed up im kinda rdrinkiong over at a frineds place. im hutitng the mothjerfruckin rev limiter at 4.500 rpms withich i tohught was it slippin. the 4l60e is handling the power pretty well so as long as you dont go 15 psi through the gears wyou should be good. hav efun.

7 psi of boost made avg ~290 rwhp 360 rwtq, stock engine 3.8L
I judge a car by the size of the smile on the owners face
