if well if you think bigger turbo same psi is suppost to be the same then think:

old turbo ~36mm compressor:
7 psi -258 rwhp 332rwtq
15 psi 336rwhp 396 rwtq (had nitrous on the IC too but debatable effects)

new turbo 61mm compressor:
5 psi 290 rwhp 373 rwtq


teh revisions I did on the exaust piping may have aided some but who knows how much I just know the over all system is better now.

Nope. 5 psi on a baby little turbo is not going to move the same amount of air as that same 5 psi on a big turbo. Its at the same pressure, but not nearly as much flow. Air=Hp.

Just wondering what the dyno graph looks like on that run, though. At what RPM were you making that horsepower, when were you making boost? Biggest question: Is it streetable? Dteails man, details! :D

why wouldn't it be streetable?. 5 psi is child's play. I bet I coudl do that on 87 octane LOL. But Im not gonna try ;) works fine on 93.

on this turbo boost is there anytime I feel like wanting some. Very fast spool, I love it. I probably have full boost before 3000 rpm.

Keep that same lb/hp ratio of 28hp, on 15psi, 10 more lbs it would have hit 570rwhp, the highest number there was a head/cam/dope LS1, that made 496rwhp. The highest numer heads and cam Ls1 was at 415rwhp.Any case, if you hook that, 125mph easy.

You cant just extrapolate those hp/lb boost numbers to more boost. Too many factors that will decrease that efficiency. Still though theres a lot left in it.

Thats the point I was trying to make, not if the motor will hold or if it'll make those numbers, just a lot left in the kit. Just showing by good ole bench racing theory, lot left. But yea, factors come in to play like tunning and if the motor will enjoy the 15lbs comming from that big hair dryer.

the turbo in the kit has a compressor wheel of 57 mm so its just slightly smaller.
