I'd question the boost gauge before questioning the dyno.. have you used more than one gauge and still shown only 5 psi?
Regardless, impressive numbers from a 60 degree mill :D

Congrats on the numbers!!! I told you it would work ;) .
I'll be using one on the 3.8 I'm putting together for the the fiero project and will put it through it's paces at around 30psi \m/
BTW, I've got the bottom end ready to go in to be balanced. Balance shaft is becoming pratice material for welding cast!

also still learning, does a bigger turbo just increase boost? or is a big turbo at 5 psi better than a small turbo at 5 psi.
i am thinking 5 psi is 5 psi regardless of the size of the turbo, but I'm still learning and am not sure.

Cp
The mass flow rate will of course be different due to temperature differences.
Do you have any idea what the difference in intake temperature was between the old turbo and the new one at 5psi? Also, if your boost guage is in fact correct, it would seem that the old turbo was out of it's efficiency range at 15psi.Matt
2000 Firebird

FullThrottleV6.com

whoa... I am with James, if I didn't know you I woudl be calling B.S. as well...
but hey everynow and then our cars can surprise us.
I thought, maybe just maybe if I was really lucky I might be able to hit a 14.9 without really buying anything for my car, then I ended up pulling a 14.4 out of my ***

is this kit going to be for the 3.8 as well? and if it has a similiar setup, what kind of gains will you be expecting?\"Well, we don\'t care how bad-*** some dude\'s N/A Honda S2000 motor is; if you go up against 900+ pushrod ponies and 750 pounds of earth-shaking torque with a wrong-wheel-drive econobox, you\'re gonna get a fast and furious old-school ***-whipping.\"

Nice numbers...however something isn't right somewhere :( ...assuming you even have a VE of 90% at 6K RPM and flowing almost 400CFM (turbo) which will equate to about ~30 lb of air/min your max tq will never be that high...Yes I don't doubt the HP, but the TQ???, then again since hp is a mathematical derivative of TQ then the whole thing has a hole...ask for a recalibration!!THE ORIGINAL 3800SII turbo...NOW SERIES-III
