What was the total cost involved?
As far as the kit development goes are there plans for just a plubming kit or are you only considering a complete kit?

no its an internal wastegate setup, changing to an external style turbo though woudl be no big deal, teh exaust is the car's exaust which we did not run back to the catback yet.
I have just started gathering parts for a turbo setup from friends, and I have been having a fairly long discussion with SirReal63 on MOFBA,and he has continually suggested I look here, and much to my joy, I saw this post right at the top. I was wondering if I could get some details on how you did your setup. I have a fairly firm idea of what I want to do, but input from someone who has actually done it would be most welcome. So far what I'm thinking is a small turbo, something like a T-3 off a junkyard DSM, and the intercooler to go with it, an inline fuel pump in adition to the in-tank pump, and aeromotive adjustible fuel pressure regulator with a boost reference, and headers that follow the usual rout, but then run tubing to the turbo under the engine, and then back under it, and out the back. From the pictures, it looks like that is what you did. Any hints, or suggestions?
L337-RS, A T-3 would probably be good. But you wont find them on a DSM. They came with smaller turbos that are comparable to a T25. Try looking for a Ford TurboCoupe(automatic, manuals had a smaller turbo), or i think Chysler 2.2 and 2.5's had a T-3.

Yup I concor...a t3 will GLADLY take a nose dive after 4900RPMs...the best bet is to start with a t3/t4 and start playing with trims...or just bite the bullet and get a small t4...

Interesting plumbing solution by running undernieth. I brought up this idea in a post of mine a while ago as a possible solution but rejected it due to ground clearance issues. I was wondering just how much clearance you have between your plumbing and the ground when off jacks? May I suggest taking a piece of large square tube, cutting it in half to create two U-shaped pieces and then welding them to the K-member to guard your plumbing from damage or anything that could possibly ruin all your good work.

not really too worried about that cause ther is no clearance problems.
