Where are you shopping or are you talking about "doing it your way with Ebay" [insert song here] ;)

I never said that the j-yard t3 was going to be better then the hybrid, just cheaper. I know plenty of four bangers that can max out a t3 let alone our big (no scarcasm intended) V6. Good call on the GN having a stock hybrid though. Unfortunatly I've never seen one in a yard yet see countless t3's in svo/turbocoupes and Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth cars of the 80's.-96 Birdie
-2x 87 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z
-97 Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel

no, its nto ebay, I am friends with a Garrett dealer, he will build me any custom spec turbo I need.

Well just to compair, what would a hybrid cost for you new/rebuilt? The best I could find from a reputable dealer was like $1400 new and 500ish if you have a core.-96 Birdie
-2x 87 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z
-97 Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel

When I said best, i meant best quality for the price. Sure you can find cheaper but turbosunleashed offers a 2 year warrenty and they balance the compressor and turbine together to under 15 thousands of a gram (garret specs call for within 1 gram on each shaft seperatly). There are many other places that do turbos but most are shady capitolists tring to cash in on the ricer craze. I've heard all types of horror stories of places reusing old cartriges that have been "fixed" tring to save a buck. Their turbos are worth every penny and I'd sure buy one if I had the $$ and was looking.
When you have things spinning @ 80,000+ rpm you really want to be sure you get what you paid for, you know what I mean?
BTW I don't think I ever mentioned how excited I am about this whole prospect. I was kindda bummed that I was going to have to settle on a 5k supercharger. Turbos are just so much fun :D It really make the car feel alive and theres nothing like launching @ full boost w/ an automatic ;)
Thanks to you and all the others in your pit crew for putting in the time and effort to develop this.
