I finally ordered the water/alcohol injection kit from coolingmist. I got the 150 psi pump with all the goodies. Should recieve it tomorrow. I think I'm going to start off running a 50/50 mix of denatured alcohol and water. Seems like most people have good luck with that setup. I let you know how it turns out.

Hey that's exactly what I have. I got it a couple of month ago and it's still in the box. But I haven't installed it yet. I have so many vechicle problems that I'm trying to work on.
Like changing the flywheel on my truck, trying to fix the ICM motor issue with my 89 bird. And I still need to change the Fuel Pressure Regulator on my 98 bird.
Right now I don't have a reliable car. As soon as I get these out of the way, I will install mine. Yeah, a lot of people seems to like theirs.
Definately keep us posted.

I already pulled my reservoir, it hold about 1 gallon which is great. I'm going to mount the pump right below it on the bumper support. Shouldn't be too difficult. I got the boost swicth, clogged nozzle detector, angled injector, water filter, etc. I think I'm going to set it up to come on at 5 psi and go from there.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Wow, sounds cool! Good luck with it. Have you run your car at the track at all yet? It looks like it should haul with those dyno numbers you have!2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph

Not yet, had the sprocket problem with the supercharger, but now that is fixed I wanted to get it tuned with the water injection( 220 degree intake temps are bad) , then hit the track one of these nights. I still need some drag tires for the rear and I need to put on my sfc's.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

I got the rest of the kit installed today, pretty impressed with it. I took it out with it set at around 2 psi to spray and it made me run lean. I need to do some tuning on it and find out what boost level I'm going to set it at. I'll get to the dyno probably after the new year. I still got some sfc's to put on and some blistein rear shocks to put on. The spocket wasn't the cause of the internal belt coming off, it was due to 928 not putting the belt retainer back on. Although the spocket had some nicks, if the belt retainer was put on it still would of held the belt on.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Oh OK.
Really, it made you run lean. It's probably because you're introducing cooler air now.
And you have 36 for injectors. It's making me worry now. I have stock injectors with FMU. I wonder if mine would have a negative reaction to it?
But then again, wouldn't the alcohol offset that? Maybe I should think about this carefully.
By the way. What's your feedback on the shimming and venting and those racing bearings and belt?

I think it made me run lean because I had it set at 2 psi to spray, I think if it came on at 5 to 6 psi it would be a differnet story. I'm going to do some runs with it to see. The venting, shimming and the bearings are great. When I emailed 928 about the belt retainer he said there wasn't enough metal on the spocket to put in back on. He also told me that it did not need the belt reatiner and it caused more damage than good. I later found out by 3 to 4 companies(superchagerrebuilds is one) that you need the belt reatiner on there to hold down the belt so it doesn't come off. So I thought to myself, why would you put it back together and send it back to me if you know it is going to come off. Thats when he said my spocket was bad and I needed a new one. So I just let it go from there and rebuilt the supercharger myself after that. If you look at the spocket, the belt reatiner is heated and pressed back onto it, so I'm guessing that they don't have the tools to do it or any parts if you need them also. When I had the blower apart ,I saw how they shim it , they make the inlet opening alittle bigger and take 3 washers and put them on the back side of the impeller moving it out from the housing. Also grinding down the inside of the snout. I also wrote down the so hard to get bearing #'s and found a place that will sell them. It takes about 2 weeks to get them though. The small bearing was $70 each and the large was $118 each. But other than the spocket issue, the blower is great.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
