I have heard of setups where people have run sequential twin turbos, where one smaller turbo runs quickly off the line until the second more larger turbo can spool in time.

But i think im going to go with a single turbo. A TA53 or TE60 either would be great after i rebuild my engine with forged internals and swap rear end with a Z28's from the bone yard.

Actually ill do more research on the type of turbo that will be right for my car. I am trying to put atleast 400 HP to the rear wheels.

Check out this old thread that I posted a reply to on computing turbocharger size.

If you do that then just cut the figures in half and it will give you a rough estimate of what numbers to look for on compressor flow maps.

I'm absolutly baffled by your logic. Two people just got done telling you that single vs twin has no effect on spool and top end power, that what is important is the sizing of the turbos, but you act like you never read that.

If twins will spool faster than a single, run twin Turbonetics T-100s. Should spin up around 2,000rpm.
