  • i need imformation about l67 eternals..

    i had detonation about my engine..

    its third time... i will be crazy~

    too hard~~~ tuning bird in korea...

    so im thinking about selling my supercharger kit~

    seriously~~ but~~~~

    i think... supercharger success is almost~ done..

    so.. im confusing now~~~~~

    hmm.. and now... i have to rebuild my engine..

    for me.. i have two things...

    1thing is just go with stock iternals.. without

    supercharger~

    the otherthing is go with l67 iternals with supercharger~

    which one should i have to go~?

    if i go with supercharger...

    give me any information about l67...

    where i can buy~

    which one should i have to change?pistons, rings

    rods, thats it?

    and how much is it? ^^:

    what is benefit of it?

    will it be best mod?

    crankshaft = same as ours
    connecting rods = powerder metal
    pistons = lower compression 8.5:1

    We can use just about everything below the heads, the L67 upper engine cannot be used with out engines, unless you plan on using the stock blower. You might as well buy a GTP then if you want a roots blower.

    All you need is some forged aluminum pistons.
    custom connecting rods or Series III L67 rods (make sure they are from a Series III)

    You could either have a custom crankshaft made or have the stock one machined for strength.

    your bottom end will take lots of abuse after that.

      I think it's because of poor gasoline that your having detonation. Do you have TRC-1 boost retardant?

      Stephan has done the L67 set up. www.projectvirus.com

      I think it will cost you alot more though. I think you should turn the boost down for a bit to 6psi for now and try to work out the problem from there. To high of a boost and poor gas can damage your engine.

      An intercooler would help you alot.

                    Lower compression will help lower the temp. of your car. If your going to go for l67 you can set your boost to 9psi and still be safe. With an intercooler you can go to 12psi without any problem.
