  • A Few Questions

I have been reading here for a while, and have gotten alot of great info. First off, I would like to thank Mcaanda for his Powerdyne install guide, which solved some mysteries for me.

Does anyone have the Crane timing retard module hooked up to their car, and if so, what do you have it set at, and why? Also, I seem to be going through O2 sensors alot, has anyone else had this happen? I suspect that I am running lean, which brings me to my final question: is the FMU supplied enough to fuel the blower, or do I really need the inline fuel pump?

Thanks in advance for any info you can give me, noone can ever seem to answer my questions when they find out it is a blown 3.8

    Nice car! Any track times??

I dont have the crane ignition hooked up to my car. I talked to James, who designed the kit, and it seems that with 93 octane and the 6lb pulley it really isnt necessary.

I have had no prob with 02 sensors so I dont know why you would be going through those.

I think the FMU supplies JUST enough fuel. I plan on going with an in-tank walbro instead of inline. I currently have a boost-a-pump but im not too happy with it.

That install guide helped me out a lot too! Big thanks to Mcaanda.

Also what gauges do you have? Could you post your fuel pressure and boost??

        Thanks for the reply.
I have only been able to get to the 1/8 mile track, and my best time was a 9.21

As far as my boost, I tighten the hell out of the belt, using a 103 belt, which gets me about 7-8 lbs of boost until the belt stretches out (I have to readjust it alot)

I was thinking about getting the boost-a-pump, and boost a spark, but I have not had enough feedback from anyone about them.
