  • Size piping for Vortech V-1 ?

I am planning a supercharger setup using a Vortech V-1, not sure what trim yet, but what size piping should i run. I have a custom intake like Tiago's with an LT1 TB already. 2.5, or 3 inch. does it var on the trim? thanks

Usually you want to match it with the discharge side of the SC and the size of your TB. You may need to use modified silicon connectors to make everything connect properly. Alot of Turbo/SC stores sells them.

I don't mean to rain on your parade but fabricating a Vortech for your 3.4 would be extremely difficult. I've seen guys here that tried and failed. That's why in your earlier post I recommended either just doing a custom Turbo or getting the FFF kit or getting the RSM kit.

Climax Racing makes the Vortech SC for RSM Racing. It's too bad they are no longer around. If they are they would make everything custom for you.

If you succeed in this, you have my humble apology.

Well, i always like to conquer what i attempt, so i'm going balls to the wall.... but thanks for your humble opinion and advice. after all, thats what we all ask for on this board, others knowledge, experience, and opinions right? so no worries at all. I was told that i need a counterclockwise SC if i am mounting it like the rsm one, where the intake of the turbo is facing out towards the radiator, and the pulley side is facing in toward the motor, is this true? Thats my only question.
