Looking thru ebay the other day I saw several 3.8 cough ford roots style superchargers for sale. I couldn't help but notice that the air inlet was side mounted, thus making it lower profiled. Has anyone considered these for the v6.

Thanks for the input. Please believe me I'm not trying to be an as but that is an LT1 V8. Are you trying to show me anything is possible? I quess I could go the the junk yard and buy a crapped out compressor to get some deminsions to see if it would possibly fit at all. Just hate spending unnecessary money if I don't have to. Bang for the buck!

That is what you are going to have to do to fit a ford charger on our 3.8's. Same principle, you are goint to need to build/fabricate a sheet metal intake in order to fit everything underneith the hood.1995 Firebird 3.8 A4, 140,000 miles and going strong
Basically Stock, college=poor
Junior Mechanical Engineering Student: Milwaukee School of Engineering; Cpl, MN Army National Guard...just got promoted :)
