...and you thought you were going to lose boost ;) I told you once it sticks the boost goes up. Great to hear the tape works. I just recently e-mail the guy who sent that to you and he said that the tape is still in good condition on his water pump.
It's good also that you did that estimation. Yeah I am going to try this and see if I could install this. Not this month though, maybe next month. I need to fix my mini-truck first, it needs a new radiator. I'm going to buy that dbl. sided belt and I am also going to see if there is a way of moving that idler pulley down so it would wrap around the blower's pulley more. I don't want to make any promises but I will certainly try and make it work. But what bugs me is that summer here gets to be triple digit, AC would sure come in handy.
Since your blower was rebuilt, you probably got the new and improved kevlar cog belt which they say is very strong, as well as the bearings. Which they say improves the reliability of the blower. I wanted to replace my inner belt and upgrade it to kevlar belt. This one guy who sells it say he got one more psi without changing the pulley size. If I do remove my blower again, I might just do this. My blower needs it since for 5 years I haven't done any serious maintainance to it.
Oh well, let us know how the tape is holding on. Good luck
