Friend helped me, took about 8 hours because we had to pull one of the manifolds due to broken bolts, and then had to get a new gasket and etc etc, pain in the *** .

Needless to say, it was free minus cost of the materials.

Open y pipe sounds nice :D

I'll try to get some tomorrow, maybe even a video with open y pipe.

              The thing hangs loooow.

              3.5-4.0" of ground clearance.

Is that under the cross member?

Yes, the pipe routes under the crossmember.

The turbo will sit directly in front of the engine, just like everyone other turbo V6 fbody we have on here.

The turbo is an IHI Borg-Warner type, it came off a 6.5L diesel truck. If it doesn't spool I'll just ebay it and buy something more widely used- no big deal.

Pssh, don't tell me about ground clearance. My y-pipe leaves me with maaaaaybe 1.5" if I'm lucky. Eh, you get used to it. You shouldn't have much of a problem, only steep driveways or bumps get me. Looks good. It's the price you pay to go fast. :D

I don't understand why noone is just routing it like any other turbo kit above the crossmember. That looks like a good job, if you can do that, it should be easy to route it above everything.
