True, I suppose. It says 6-7 is good and 10 psi is usually good too as long, as it's not overused I'd imagine.

Any ideas how much it would help to add just a cam (with the above specs)?

think of the cam as the cars lungs, think of the heads as your neck.

some the cam can let in and our so much air...... the heads are a shoke point to the cam (headers and intake's fall into this also)

so if you cut off choke the neck the cam is restriced also

the cam will really wake up the car and help with spool but the heads will be choke point

That's a good comparison. I get it moreso now.

I really wanted to turbo, head, cam, etc this thing and really build it up. However, now I have the new Camaro coming out soon (well, soon enough IMO) and have to start saving for that. So, to make my car quick enough in due time (and money), I thought to just turbo it and add a cam (because I know that'll help my car function better with the turbo). I can't afford the extra grand to get the heads, and I don't REALLY want to "waste" a lot of money on rockers, rods, etc. but I don't want to blow my car up either...

Only thing I'm concerned about is the blowing up part lol. The heads are gone.. out of my mind.

            Alright, that sounds good.

After I get my gears/shift kit in (hopefully this upcoming week) I'm going to start getting real serious looking for a turbo kit...
