i was just thinken today about puttin a turbo and how it would work on my car and i dont feel like hackin apart my bumper for an intercooler so could we get a smaller one and get a ram air hood and top mount it?

Too much heat soak if you put it on top like STI. This one from ATI is smaller and doesn't require hacking of any kind. Just a removal of sides:
