matt 8.5:1 is stock for the L67 GTP, 14 psi is probably not safe on a mostly stock L67 but its just the fact that its cracking out huge ammounts of power almost stock L67, but remember, the L36 is not the exactly same as the L67 so dont just go and give some high boost to your L36 or you will regret it.

One last question. Is there any turbo lag on either kit? Just curious. Do I beat the V8 on the low end and hold him off, or do I catch up to him on the topend? :D

P.S.
I hope these kits are loud

its just funny as hell when I kid that knows nothing about building a car talks like he is god to one of the guys that has been around for years and has done alot of break through work in the v6 world, not mentioning the ****loads of other cars Ive built.

THOSE FUEL/SPARK UPGRADES ARE INCLUDED IN MY KITS.

I know all about the l67, no need to give me a course on it. I do my hw thank you.

SC have alot more fun then turbo on a m5? WTF did you pull that from? ahahaha whatever.

say good bye to your engine if you have stock internals eh? ok, how about the amount of boost Ive been running in my car for 9 months now? still lives. The turbo LT1 (stock internals, 10.5 CR  ooh) takes 10 -12 lbs constantly and also been doing that for 9 or so months, still living. Radcat's car taking it very well and I have no doubt will live for a long time without problems. ITs all in tuning.

Please don't talk to me like I don't know wtf I am doing. I have done it all before and I woudln't put these kits on peoples' daily drivers including my own if I didn't know the risks and how much to push the motor. BTW my CR is also 9.4 ish on my dammed 3.4 with ****ty cast aluminum pistons and the ***** lives!

why would you only build a 383 out of an ls1? you can get ls1 based 427+ cu in motors so i dont no what you are talking about there. and why stop at a sbc?? why not jsut build a 700" big block and not drive it on the street??why not jsut build a friggin alcohol dragster motor and run that. you no why you wont, cause none of this stuff is for the street, and you will have a hard time fitting all this garbage into your car. i have been building engines and cars for a long time, 3 had ls1 based motors, and the customer was always happy. i jsut wonder why you would set a limit like 383 cubic inches? thats tiny

this isnt pontiacGTP.com so i was sayin that the firebird/camaro motor doesnt have 8.5-1cr. and when our turbo cars put down huge numbers with over 10psi, it will prove too you that it can be done. keep in mind that boost is different from every turbo. 10psi from a t3 isnt the same as 10psi form a t100. if i remember correctly, tiago ran over 15psi for a lil while for fun. and that motor still runs fine. i think 9 months is a damn good trial period, dont you??
boost, you got it???

Tiago, I was wondering, will each kit be custom made to each car? what I mean is, what if we already have fuel or spark upgrades, such as a larger fuel pump, or MSD-DIS-4 and coil packs, will u exclude those parts since we already have them, and charge us less for not puting them into the kit?

Yeah thanks a lot for the input, your reasoning and "research" are hilarious. In fact I motion for Tiago to give up on the kits and send everything to this guy so he can fix the design. I mean he knows everything about this stuff from divine intervention, Tiago only knows it by laying on his back covered in metal shavings and oil for 100's of hours working on the damn kits. Thanks for the amusement.

Tiago or Matt,

Wondering what you guys think about 24lb vs 26lb vs 30lb injectors for forced induction. Do you see any need to go to 30lb injectors, I mean, how much HP would you have to be pushing before things go static on 24's or 26's at around 6,200 RPM? Also, fuel system requirements shouldn't be that much different between Turbo and Supercharged applications, right? You say that the kits should only be $3,500 for a 3.4L? You guys are REALLY making me rethink my decisions about how I'm going to boost my car.

About the 3.4's stock CR, should it be kept at (9.0:1 ?) or should it go down a bit, to maybe 8.5:1? I was contemplating going to forged pistons, you know, in case I get a little (more) crazy and decide to up the boost a bit (pending intake air temps aren't too high.) :D

Could you imagine the results going to 3400 series Gen III heads, a larger throttle body (apparently RSM Racing makes a 62mm unit for the 3.4L) AND an intercooled turbo setup? Ohhh momma, I'd need a good clutch... Mwahahaa :D

we sell engines too if you want something. and the more boost you run the better the internals need to be. i am running just under 8-1cr in my new motor so i can hold up to massive boost. 24pounders should be fine for a about 400-450 safely without goin static. but it all depends on what the rest of your setup will consist of. i would never go above 30pounders on the stock ecu with or without a boost reference fuel supply. if you need anything for the turbo setup or drivetrain, let me or tiago no.
boost, you got it???
