  • turbo y pipe ceramic coating

Couple of quick questions for you fellas that are making your own turbo y-pipes. Are you doing any ceramic coating on the pipes? If you are are you doing it for personal protection, maximizing heat energy to the turbo or pipe life?
The next question is if you are coating which coating would you use? And finally has anybody used those self applied ceramic coatings? Sounds like a survey doesn't it.

There's a place in town that'd do it for me for like $50 bucks.

I coated my longtubes with tech line coatings black satin. Works well so far. I already had a compressor and spray gun.

Been about 4 months now, the coating is holding up just fine. My main concern was to just keep it from rusting.
