Before you guys go to too much trouble w/ rrfpr and computer tuning, or what ever you have planned, check out this site

http://www.gusmahon.org/html/fuel.htm

Twards the bottem #4 Adding cold start injectors for more fuel.

You basicly use cold start injectors (they don't pulse, just spray) from audi's and saabs to add fuel at certin boost levels. Some turbododge guys have 3 or 4 on their 4 bangers. All you do is stick the injector in the upper ic pipe and rig it up to a boost switch and bingo more fuel at whatever boost level you choose for like $40.

Just an FYI if you're on a budget or don't wanna deal with trying to fix idle problems w/ larger injectors. You might wanna read through the rest of that site aswell. Lots of j-yard power tips that may be useful.

The thing is, slightly larger injectors won't mess up our computers, and the computer can learn how 2 use them.

The turbo kit is pushing the same amount of air that Batman's kit is pushing, so logically, the fuel requirements will be the same. having an adjustable FPR and a larger fuel pump would do fine. I like the idea of slightly larger injectors tho, since the comp can handle them, and it'll ease off the amount of fuel pressure needed to supply enough fuel.

comparing the turbo to the sc wont work.
but the idea with the injectors is correct, thats why I want to use them.

thats awesome numbers. considering a Bad leak in the intake due to the hose being broken or whatever was stated above.

fatten up the A/F mixture, fix that intake problem, and bingo. you guys should be fine.

good job you two.

and an EVEN BETTER job if its on the market before the end of this year, for under 3500 bucks ;)

Nice numbers, regardless of all the excuses posted above it looks like atleast a 100 rwhp gain from this kit. Good work!!! Hopefully the cousin of this kit does better to justify the price(Batman's kit).

Radcat's car is awesome for sure. If I can get ahold of him by this weekend, I am going to makes some changes to his induction side. Tiago is slacking on us down in Houston. The biggest problem with Jesse's car is the speed limiter. Tiago is having the same problem. I'm hoping to go on the next pull and disconnect his speed sensor. Some cars have problems with this, some done but if his works, then he can make a full pull to redline in 4th gear. I'm expecting him to put down 320/360 give or take.

For those that don't know me, I am the other guy who worked on this kit. Tiago and Jesse were gracious enough to let me build the turbo for them and work on the design. With some luck, we are going to release the LT1, L36, and L32 kits at the same time.

7psi on any engine is 7psi right? so dyno numbers are kinda like, bleh? what's the car run seems more important. If someone does not have all the mods you have done, they wont get those rwhp#'s unless your car is stock, is it?

his car was stock before the kit.

the LT1 kit was already done, Bryan finished the LT1 at the same time I finished my 3.4 last year. We built the 3.8 kit together and now that I had to relocate down to houston ( I need a job dammit, not slackin ) he will be taking over the 3.8 project. I have no doubt he can squeeze the projected numbers out of Jesse's car. Maybe he will chime in and tell you guys what the Lt1 made to scare you guys ;) muwahahaha. \m/

7psi isn't 7psi on any engine. I made 462 horsepower 473ft/lbs of torque with my LT1 prototype early in the build phase on 7psi and stock injectors. At 10psi it made 484/540 but I had to abort the dyno pull at 4700 rpm because the boost spiked to 10psi and I didn't want to push it. Good thing I didn't. I've sinse upgraded the injectors and run 12psi. I haven't dynoed it yet but it's enough to push my 3900lbs car to 128mph bouncing the rev limiter before the end of the track in 4th (6 speed car). I'm expecting 550/600 to the ground and times of around 10.7 @ 130 when it's done. Stock LT1 engine aside from injectors. No programming.

At 7psi, Radcats car made 282/320 if I recall.

Boost can be thought of as a measure of airflow on a given engine but it's not applicable from one engine to another. Even a cam change causes the S/C guys to get lower boost out of there poweradder because it's giving it a chance to push more air into the engine thus having less pressure in the intake manifold. You increase the volumetric efficiency thus you move more air through the engine. This is where the supercharger falls off because their compressors move a given amount of air based on engine rpm. Engine RPM dictates compressor RPM on a supercharger where as it's independant on a turbocharger.

BTW, I can't believe you skipped out on us for Fridays 2 slow 2 curious showing. We OWNED the theater last time. :D

guys...spend some money on fuel and ignition management...it is the ONLY difference between life/death.

you cannot go wrong...at least it is a better setup than using cold start injrctors...
