if it's used with a centrifugal sc, it should be fine. the centrifugal sc's make their boost mainly at upper rpm's anyway, and the GT2 cam is designed for higher rpm powerband neways.

cams arent my strong point but i would think you would want a cam that makes more power down low so your powerband isnt so one sided.

Lotta overlap with the GT2 cam. Would make more power with a cam that has less overlap (wider LSA).

thats more of a NA cam i think you want about 113-114 LSA on it.
yes it will work , but you won't get 100% out of the combo

How's that? Thats the GT cam. I'm looking for something that would perform well both NA, and with FI. I plan on getting the cam before spring (when I plan on picking up the SC), so I'm looking for a good candidate.

What are you looking for in the way of drivability, power range, etc?

take a look at the intense grinds for SC. they have some proven grinds you can look over at them then get a custom grind from compcams cheaper... lol

Uh, I copied the specs from ZZ perf. Trusy me those are GT-2 specs. The only differences are the lobe separation and the duration. I would use the Gt cam for a little bit better low end , and you would still have nice power up top.

He was asking if those that he posted (GT) would be better than the GT2. ;)

You still don't have a lot of overlap, even with that tight 111 LS on the GT2.
I have basically the same cam, and at .05 lift the exhaust valve closes 8 degrees before TDC whereas the intake valve opens right at TDC. There's no overlap at .05" which indicates not much if any a .04999"-.000001"

i'd say go ahead and buy a blower cam since that is the final combination. It will still run good NA but run even better w/the blower. Something like the Comp 210/220, .512/.512 on a 115LS.
