Forced induction will add more stress to the motor. You show wisdom in not just rushing headlong in mods.
Perhaps there are two main things to consider:
Forced induction will rais the cylinder compression and possibly cause more oil blow by
and two, the added horsepower will hit real hard with a super charge, NOS or turbo. question is if you feel confinant in the crank bearings. They will be taking much of that load. The L36 is very strong, however.
I can't talk, though. I put my SC on at 10,000 miles. (currently at 18,000) I would also be thinking twice about heavy mods at 100k mile.
Maybe start a thread asking for input on high mileage power adder opinion from Veteran forced induction runners.
