• FFF and pipes

I was talking with Tiago yesterday about he pipe situation. We were trying to figure out a way to get the pipes out ASAP.

The problem this whole time has been the pipe shop (Formco). They like to take forever. It took about 8 months for me to get my pipes from them. It took this long because they had to make a few sets, since the first few didn't fit right. We didn't think that it would take this long for them to make the rest. The order keeps getting pushed back. They do this because the order is so small as to what they normally do so they feel they can push us around. This is not an excuse I'm just giving out all the info I know.

Back to the conversation Tiago and I had. He mentioned that if he has a car he can fab up some pipes on the spot like my original set. I offered him to use my car to make the rest of the pipes for the GP. He got on the phone with Bryan (owner of KBS) and talked to him about it. Bryan is having a meeting today with Formco. He is giving them one of two options. Either they finish the pipes within 2 weeks or give us the pipes they are working on. If they give us the pipes I will donate my car for however long it takes to finish up the pipes. This way all the pipes will be test fitted on my car and should be done in about 4 days.

So my pipes will be finished by Formco in maybe two weeks. One week to ship (Let's hope it doesn't get lost bye DHL this time Tiago  ). So in three weeks I could have my full kit. One week to install... Hello December. Hey look, it's snowing outside.

Or I can have Tiago pull out his welder and hacksaw and weld the pipes together. I sure as hell hope they aren't going to look like the ones from the website. I paid for the professionally bent pipes.

I would think running this by the people who bought the kit would be a smart thing to do.... I know I didn't pay 3 grand for sloppy pipes. I hope they were planning on running this by us. It's hard to get an update unless you e-mail Tiago and ***** about everything.

I know I sound like an *** here. But with all the lies that have been told to me, plus a few other things that just keep snowballing... this is a joke. I do however appreciate your attempt to help out Radcat. But I've been lied to and pushed aside for too long.

Don't worry about the quality of the pipes if Tiago makes them. I have seen Tiago's welds and they look damn good. The ones that we made on mine Tiago didn't make. It was also the first time Bryan and I had ever used a welder

The production pipes would have welds on them too. It is impossiable to get some of the angles and bends needed from a mandrel bender so there will be a few welds anyway.

2nd for test fitting pipes before shipping. (Thanks Ratcat).

The custom y-pipe is the MOST important part of this kit. Not too many people can weld exhaust pipe so that it won't leak after years of heat and pressure. So if there is any doubt have the welding done by someone who welds for a living.
