ok well...i was still thinking of the idea of turboing my car,and well...i never heard of anyone twin turboing a firebird,just wondering what everyones opinion on it is.

yeah, basically, you'd have to do about twice the work and then some cuz you'd have to get them to synchronize. you dont wanna be running 4psi in one bank and 7 in the other. plus, you have to take into consideration space. we dont have a whole lotta space around the engine and you also have to make sure you get the thing intercooled too, cuz w/o it you pretty much defeat the purpose of having a turbo in the first place. really, stick with one turbo in my opinion.2000 3.8L Camaro A4 Pewter Y87<br />K&N Filter, SLP Ram Air kit, Eibach Pro Kit, Flowmaster 80 series, Silverstars, NGK plugs and MSD Super Conductor Wires, Electric Water Pump

Isnt that sequential turbo then?... when you have two turbo's (one smaller, one larger). The smaller one spools up quicker reducing turbo lag (which i heard is pretty bad if you turbo an F-Body... is that true?). the Second bigger one takes over in the higher RPM range to provide more boost than the smaller one could. Don't know if i am completely acurate or not so if anyone else has more info please add or correct me. I am lookin to rebuild my 3800 II and want to turbo [img]graemlins/naughty.gif[/img] unless there is a NOTICABLE lag.

Parallel twin turbos(same size) do not really offer a advantage over one bigger turbo, just more parts. Sequential twin turbos(different sizes) are good for road course racing but are very difficult to build.
Lag on the 3800 is what you make it. Everyone building kits are putting big turbos on. If you dont want any lag, put a smaller turbo on. You can build a turbo system to make power wherever you want. If you put a small turbo on, it will make power down low, but will suffer power up top.
