So, quick vote- after I plug the hole in the throttle body, where should I locate a breather?

I would say oil cap on the valve cover. In my experience with putting the supercharger on the only way to keep it running right was to plug the TB and put the breather on. The only time I've had oil come out of the breather was when my valve guides were leaking causing oil to spray to the top of the valve cover. Also before doing the TB mod I was having major oil leaks: lower intake, valve cover, and valve guides.

Find a copy of the Mcaanda Powerdyne install instructions, explains how the mod is done and contains a photo. The mod is needed to keep boost pressure out of the crankcase. Then, after the mod is done add a breather at your oil filler or, at the very least remove the O ring seal on the filler cap.

yto solve the problem with the oil leaking out of the breather, jsut take the valve cover off and weld a baffle on there. this will keep the oil away from the filter element part of the breather, but it wont restrict the capability of it too act like it should.
boost, you got it???

Just got my valve cover breather from South Florida Pulley HQ and it's a VERY nice piece. The bottom half is billet cut to snap in place of the oil filler neck and then the top half is your standard push in breather that fits real snug. I don't anticipate any leaks out of it. For the price it's worth it. Very quality piece.

Aight ... I WANT A FINAL ANSWER ON THIS.

I'm going boosted with Formulao96's old turbo setup. Do I:
1. Leave everything as is.
2. Add crankcase breather on oil cap.
3. Block the through-hole in the TB.
4. Do both 2 and 3.

Thanks!
-Rob

Do both 2 and 3 so you don't pressurize the crankcase through the PCV and then allow it to breathe from the valve cover.

I haven't had any problems with oil out of the breather and my dipstick hasn't moved either.

I just started my install on the powerdyne, and I did something different- I plugged the hole, but I drilled a new hole in the bottom of the TB that goes from the tube that I plugged to the outside.

It accomplishes the same thing as the original hole, except instead of putting the air into the tb, it just puts it into the engine bay.

The only down side is that I'm not sure if there is room for a filter yet. But, since the air is going out of that hole and not in it, it shouldnt be a big deal.

How come nobody did this before? I hope there isnt a good reason, because I already did it!
