I know that anyone who runs a turbo installs an intercooler, if I get a supercharger, should I also install an intercooler? Most guys I know that supercharge their LS1's dont have intercoolers but I noticed many people are getting them for the V6.

The one for ATI is intercooled. But a lot of here that have Powerdyne don't really need it. It's one of the cool running SC. The ave. temp for PD is around 113-125 deg. even in the hot summer.

People who have installed an intercooler with the PD has experienced a drop of 2 psi.

i have seen scans of PD hitting 160 IAT under boost....... this robs timing and power and IC would help a lot

I guess your right. But I know that an intercooler hasn't been a positive experience for us PD.

green glow added the IC and picked up a few tenths at the track even tho there is less boost

for the PD you need smaller IC.... putting one like mine you would loose alot of PSI

but if sized right you will loose 1-2 psi BUT, still make the same or little more power, this is becuase you should be able to advance the timing back. it is also alot better for the motor in the long run.

for the PD i would think alcky would be the best bet, cheaper and no fabing IC pipes.... plus it adds octane..... so your still good at 9 psi

That's what I have. I haven't installed it yet but I know SSM5411 who has the same thing, already did.

I may change the nozzle for NA, because the one for SC tends to make the car bog down. From what SSM say and from others have said. We'll see.
