I met a guy at IRP last Friday who had a custom ATI Procharger installed on his 2001 v6 mustang M5. He also was sporting some M/T ET Streets.
It was the self-contained unit, not sure the part #, but it didn't have oil line connections.
Friday was an ideal night for drag racing. Cool, little wind and no humidity.
And the result! He ran 14.2's all night long. Pretty consistent, I think that the worst I saw him drive was a 14.4, but I saw him pull 14.2's on three occasions. I'd say he could pretty well drive that M5.
Well, the reason this is in F/I is b/c I know BATMAN's kit is coming out real soon, so you guys can get an idea about where supercharged mustang v6's are. I thought most that are planning on buyint the kit would be interested.
I think that our cars w/ that S/C kit is gonna stomp well into the 13's. Of course, I'm biased! :D Really, I was not impressed because he was dead hooking w/ those ET Streets.
I just thought that he'd be faster.
