I concure.
as long as you have at least opened up your exhaust with some sort of catback or 3 inch conversion or headers, for example you can expect about 10 hp to the wheels per 1 point of psi boost at 4000+ rpm. This is not to say the S/C will not add power down low (it will) but it is much more dramatic at higher rpms and especialy at rapid RPM climbs...such as downshifting.
the stock fuel system on our 3.8 cars can handle 6 psi with no problems. Moving up to 9 psi requires many supporting mods to the fuel system and this can get pretty complicated and pricey when you start adding in the cost of tuning once you have completly changed the fuel system.
I am just letting you know what you are in for if you have not read up on what is involved between 6 psi S/C and 9 psi S/C.
For me the cost and hassle of the 9psi upgrade keeps me from doing it.

Grayman, I've seen people from Vector Perf. run 10psi (from a supposedly 9 lbs pulley)with just the regular set up of FMU and good exhaust set up. No injector change, or even computer tuning.
I've seen them dyno 270-275rwhp with just that. Ed's website that was up here for a while dynoed at 260rwhp with 9 psi. But I can see what you mean though. Your car is heavily modified, esp. with the Rocker Arms. That may affect how things goes when it comes to boost.

You can see Vector Perf. proto-type car dynoed at 254.8rwhp from a bone stock 156.8rwhp and it was at 8psi.
I've personally seen this car before it got shipped to Florida. There's not a single exhaust system done to this car. The only modification it has is the SC. I thought that was pretty sweet.
