• Where to get supercharger?

I have heard you all talk about the Powerdyne and Vortech kits for our cars. I have been to their sites and they dont have anything about their systems for the 3.8 camaro. Can someone give me some links to where i can buy either one of these systems? thanks.

Has the 6 psi L36 f-body SC kit. 4 grand.
Tbyrne.com has the powerdyne kit as well.

I have also written the folks at 3800 performance.com about the 'cartuning performance' turbo kit...'coming soon' for the L36 f-body...they haven't written back. (3 grand)

you can talk to machperformance about the ati kit, it is still in beta testing but they will sell it to you. are you new to Forced Induction? if so read up on the advantages of turbos and superchargers. also lag is highly overated with turbos.

I've been kicking around for a few months now, whether to sell my setup or not. I was debating on trying to make some brackets to put it on the LS1, but I finally decided to go the turbo route for it.

So, the plan is to put the powerdyne on ebay this weekend, after I get some pictures up...

In case anybody is thinking about buying new, and wants to see how my used kit goes.

First greenglow gets a vette, now you are switching to turbo. The powerdyne is losing all its pioneers. What turbo setup are you planning on tiago's or a one off and with what turbo/turbos?

Heck, I'm running low 12's with less than 400...

I can't wait to see what it does with the turbo after it's installed!

I called machperformance.com and the ATI Procharger kit is for sale(10 psi system). About $4200. That comes with an intercooler and everything you need except tuning. Sounds like a better deal then the Powerdyne. I might go for it after the first of the year.

i personally think its a better deal purely because its a better supercharger, throw in the IC and its a hell of a lot better. i like turbos better myself but of the SC units that one seems the best. Only problem is they still havent said its out of beta yet and i dont know why, which makes me a "little" nervous.

I'd jump all over that procharger kit if i were in the market for an S/C. Intercooled AND it's a Procharger..... can't beat that.

You should really think about using a real turbo setup. Not one that makes your car drive like a supra, as far as boost characteristics go. Most STS kits that see 80-90rwhp PEAK gains, only see 4-5mph improvements in the 1/4 mile, with minimal ET gains as well. But dont worry, thats not without a list of bull**** excuses from said STS owners as well
