  • Thinking of switching sides (my kit for sale?)

I mean, what's the difference? Turbo, Blower, it's all good ...

If John_D's kit remains around $1500 or so ... maybe a tad less ... and I can find a buyer for my kit. I may just switch sides.

I dunno. My kit and I have a history together. Hmmmmm...............................

Buy my kit and you'd get: well, I'm not sure. John_D's would include a bunch of stuff that I already have, like an FMU. I dunno. Since I did the XJ mod on my fuel lines, I might have some issues putting them back together to use the PD FMU.

    UGH! Decisions decisions.

And I'd need some pacesetter headers to go with the kit. I'm just thinking here. I hope Billy comes in and drops a line!

Driver's side header is stock, to cross-overpipe spilling into custom forward swept passenger's header. Into turbo, out OVER-K downpipe. Can include a bunch of tubing / piping / etc. Can include large front mount intercooler with all piping / clamps / etc to get it to work with yoru car. I run a split SLP CAI with the IC air in one pipe and the filter cold air in the other. What else what else ... Would include blow off valve (DSM 1G), umm ... geez ... I have so many parts around here. Manual boost controller. You have to remove A/C to run OVER-K setup, but it means you don't scrape the downpipe.

Turbo may need a rebuild. Kits are $75 from Limit Engineering.

Well, post here and get me thinking if you want it.

Yes but it's just a basic site about garrett products. You need to give them a call, and I got the number off of turbobuick.com

Got the mail. Pictures would take a while, the best I have are some old ones that were sent to me with the kit, and a few underhood shots.

I'd be doing the switch over winter. (in the early month of January)

Well then it would be a party at my place. I still gotta see if I'm the only one interested in John D's blower.

                (that didn't sound good)
