Tiago why are all your turbos geared towards T-series turbos? on relatively stock setups?
I am starting to see why most of the V6fbody's FI are still stuck ;)
Go back and read my post I said "at least" 15 PSI. I'm still playing with it and getting used to watching more guages. It appears to be fully spooled under 3K. I'll try to watch it more. It's been raining to much down here to really test it out too much.

Ultimatly, I might add N20, but I have to take it one step at a time. I am planning on upgrading internals next, after that, I have not nailed down exactly what I want/need to do.

Ya know I see constant mud slinging going on. Frankly it's childish. Why can't you people help each other instead of constantly putting others down. Make suggestions, talk problems out but stop with the constant bickering. No one is perfect, no one will have the perfect setup because there are a lot of different ideas on what's the best setup. Be happy for others instead of dragging them down. If you spot a flaw in someones set up talk about it, don't attack. Sorry I am just sick of seeing the silly bickering.

/soapbox

Moving forward, have a happy and safe holiday.

I'm curious, what size intercooler are you using? What brand also?

Oh yeah, I've been manifesting crazy ideas in my head of turbo setups and I was just wondering about one thing. The two turbo halves can be rotated to put the input/outputs heading in different directions right? I just wanted to verify this.

....I agree on the unnecessary abundance of bickering....

Good luck with the setup...

ITs acutally a master power turbo so not a true t series turbo, but people can relate to a 70 mm compressor.

Point is it works, and it spools FAST , I myself expected a little mroe lag but honestly, I can't even tell its such a big turbo, Im extremely happy with how it spooled efforlessly.

the orange stuff is RTV, help those crappy flanges seal a little bit better.

I am not sure who made the intercooler.

</font>
Well if Tiago was in my face I will still tell him what I just stated and how I stated it...no sugar quoting...it is what it is! I think you feel it is a bicker and that is your perogative...I did not sling any mud assuming you were refering to my post!
we have used GN turbos which dwarfs the small DOG he/you use(s)...the issue is that too many ppl are gearing towards huge compressors which are frankly just TOOOO big for the 231cis stock or even modd'd...now if you are building a drag car fine if not enjoy the joy of an interim turbo...A t70 WILL NOT FULLY SPOOL by 3500RPM...believe it or not!! I respect your opinion and your ideas but you aren't the first to use this turbo and know its inherent characteristics...I digress and time will tell, goodluck...
Tiago nice LS1 setup BTW...hopefully we can see some track vids!!

Nocutt,

Do you have some numbers (dyno/track times) on your setup? I am just curious. I'd like to compare numbers I am going to get (soon), to the numbers you have.

Also can you give specifics on what you have done to your car?

YEs it has been proven and I say again I am very surprised myself of how fast that turbo spooled.

Tiago,
What were the specs on your first Turbo..the one in those videos? Seems like your boost was more linear, like a SC. Seems the Turbo was a bit too big. Looks like on the Boost gauge it didnt get a full spool intill like 4500. I may be wrong but thats what I saw.

Thanks for the reply on the IC size, what about the re-aligning the halves of the turbo? can it be done?
