TDZ, you can definately rotate both housings any way you like.

Yea,
I know it got some boost before 4500 RPM. Im am talking FULL BOOST. Looked like full boost was about 9-10 PSI. Most "Street" Turbo cars get a full spool before 3800RPM.

Well,
Maybe Im wrong...I just watched it again. Im not bashing you guys, but know one seems to know the specs on their turbo's. Most people here say..."Its got a T4" their is about 40-50 diffrent T4's all the way to a T88 witch would make over 1000HP. I would thing most carts here would work well the the V-Trim, H-Trim , 60-1 , 62-1 Compressors, and O,P, and Q-Trim Turbine wheels. Anyone here know what the Specs on their Turbo is?

on the videos of the T04 it had a very bad boost leak which made boost come on like it was linear, but it wasn't normally like that. That perticular turbo is in the pics in comparison to the MP70.
After all the innefficiencies were fixed that old T04 would come on strong around 3k, just wasn't pushing alot of power hehe, but still enough to roast the rears when going into 2nd, as hou-tex-six can vouch. The To4 had a rather large hot side A/R of 0.82 with that tiny little wheel. But it did ok.
If you don't mind me asking, how much did all that set you back?

typically these setups from from about $2,500-$4,000 all depends on what components your using, how much of the work you do on your own, and if you have any hookups. as for the actual cost of his setup, im not sure.

My total cost was 2300ish, I had a lot of parts already. Tiago did the piping and set up ( he also got the turbo). Typically this set up would run 4000ish if you purchase all the parts new.
hey do you have any pics of the piping and installation of the intercooler up front, thats the way i want to set mine up!

Thanks fellas,
That helps! People allways say " I got a T4 " I just want to shoot myself. I have a T3/T4 BB Turbo, Stage Five Exhaust Wheel with a .63 A/R and a 62-1 Compressor side with a .60 A/R. If I was to upgrade to a T4 It would be a T66 With a Q-trim exhaust wheel with a .70 A/R. This Turbo that I have now will get a Full Spool well before 2800RPM. I really need a .84 A/R housing for the Exhaust side. Im scared that the turbo is going to create alot of back pressure. Ill have to put a guage on it.

Is your STG V exhaust wheel a turbonetics designation? if it is then you have ~61mm exd. and ~71mm ind. A very big wheel not up to a P-trim however locked in an almost .83 A/R...if it is a turbonetics housing!! Turbonetics housings are usually one stage bigger...regardless your turbo is a very suitable unit for a even a modded 3800...
