well i saw a Monty Python(flying circus) skit a long time ago that had John Cleese slap a guy with a fish. i dunno if that's what's Tealy is talking about but it reminded me of Monty Python and the holy grail. guess you'd have to see it.
i was swimming in the carribean. animals were hiding behind the rocks except for the little fish, but they told me the squid\'s trying to talk to me. oink, oink. where is my mind?

No offense but no way can a stock L36 handle that much boost, even when intercooled.

You'll slowly fry your rings and crack the skirt side of your piston. Ed who ran his Powerdyne 10 to 12 can attest to that. 6lbs is basically the safest and 9 is definately pushing but with an intercooler it can be safe.

How is air/fuel ratio going to be kept at the correct level? Custom PCM with bigger injectors?

That hasn't been definitely answered yet. Custom programming is an additional cost option with the kit. Especially if going with the 10lb setup.

I've specifically asked about the bigger injectors, and have not gotten an answer yet. I don't think they'll know until they get it all put together and see if the stock injectors can flow enough without going static.

It will be close... I put 24's on my sprayed 3.8 with about 130 extra hp, and am at the limit. If the s/c holds to about 100 extra hp, the stock ones may be ok. If anyone is thinking about spraying on top of s/c'ing at 10lbs, that could be a problem.

The ammount of Hp mentioned in this thread will definatly need higher flowing injectors. How these injectors are controlled will have a large impact on how the car idles and criuses. I dont want a supercharged car that has only good air/fuel at WOT. Custom programming will add to the cost am I correct?

Yes, the custom programming will add to the cost. I don't remember the exact number, seems like it is $450. I'm not planning on it at this time. I keep hoping Magnus will have something, or maybe by some stroke of luck HPP3 will come out with something.

Dear god, power doesn't come cheap thats for sure. I have further discussed air/fuel ratio of a modifed engine with ZZP and their ICCU unit will have the ability to modify the ratio each 500 rpm along with timing. Unfortunaly you PCM has to be edited by DHP (digital horse power) in order to allow the ICCU to edit your timing above 2 degreees (up to the ICCU level of 6 degrees) so even then you still have added costs. I don't work for ZZP, just trying to get info out there for the masses.

You guys should read the grand prix forums along with this one. There are a lot of products made by member for problems that arise. There is a L36 forum for the non supercharged. The ICCU should benefit all cars that do not have a perfect air/fuel ratio currently. (aka anyone with mods)
