I put my car up on jack stands about a week ago and was measuring space for turbo/IC and stuff. Let me just say that there is really NO ROOM for exhaust piping lol. I plan on keeping my AC BTW.

anyone rerout the hose from the condenser that takes up 1/3 of the passenger side space between engine and radiator?

Also, I found a space, through what I think is the K-member, on both sides. I don't know if it is large enough for a 2.5" diameter exhaust pipe though.

You didn't really think there was space, did you? I'll have to get pics of my setup ...

I saw the pictures of them, but not on the car.

What inside the engine bay did you move (if anything) to make them work? and did you move the AC condenser hose?

Please excuse my ignorance, but why does it seem to be not extremely difficult to run a single or even twin turbo setup on an LT1 or LS1? Is the V6 for some reason larger than it's 8-cyl counterpart? I know a lot more V8 guys are willing to part with their AC, but I've seen it done without removing it.

the V8 guys are not doing what I am doing. the have the turbos in the back and run intake ducting through the wheel wells, from what I understand. they dont have room for exhaust just like I don't. The V6 is definatly smaller than the V8; I'm mounting the turbo where the gap is that the V6 leaves where the V8 takes up, lol. Maybe if I look at the LT1/LS1 setups, I can get an idea of where to mount the turbo if possible in the back. But guys on this forum have had ground clearance issues doing that before. So I don't know. It's better to bottom out on your down pipe than on your turbo I guess. Also, I considered several places for the turbo location, and behind the engine seemed to require the most plumbing, most lag.

If I could make some headers like Shane's, then I might be able to manage all of the plumbing without anything being too close to the ground.....

That'd be cool, but its already sounding expensive lol

Any way I can get that price?

Edit: I won't hold you to it, just a ballpark figure would be nice
