I was wondering. Do I still need to replace the PCV valve for maintenance if I have the throttle body mod done for the FI? Doesnt the mod disable the PCV?

Re: PCV valve and Throttle body blocking mod.
i think with the 'vented TB mod' you will still need a working pcv valve. gases from crankase will collect and pass thrue the pcv valve and then out the side of the tb where you make the vents. The one way pcv valve will block off under vacum and that will keep the tb from sucking crap in through the vent holes.
with the other method where you block the back of the TB the pcv valve is now disabled and you need a valve cover breather to release the crank case preusrized gas. when i say the pcv valve is disabled...well, it still works...but there is no where for the pressure to go...so it works it's way up and out the valvecover breather. I don't plan on having to replace my pcv valve as I use this method. perhaps when i ever remove the super charger i will plan on looking at the pcv to see if it is still in good condition. i would not be surprised to see it all gummed up though. no big deal.
