Upgrade your injectors and fuel pump!!! Although my car is running strong still, I know something is wrong inside the motor. I think it was caused by running 4lbs of boost with the stock injectors. Don't make the same mistake!
    That is all.

Thats weird. I had a Vortech FMU and Walbro fuel pump with stock injectors and my car kept losing power if I had the throttle all the way down. I drove all the way to Florida like that and noticed that my car was starting to get oil in the tailpipe. So, after I came back home, I upgraded my injectors and it was like Whoa when I floored it.

Yeah, I know. I will be saving up for the HPtuner over the summer. Hopefully I will be ditching the damn FMU before the racing season is over.

Re: For people whos planning on running boost

I've not even got all the bugs out of my turbo setup, but what i like about having the FMU and the inline fuel pump is that I have the pump come on only when boosting by hooking up a switch to the FMU. If i went with 36lb injectors or bigger... and ditched the FMU how difficult would it be to keep my setup with the fuel pump? Could I just leave the vacuum switch in place? It t's off the FMU but I guess it could just be at the end of a vacuum line???

              yeah that would

while this setup it nice if it fails one time you motor will pop and you won't know its abot to happen till a rod goes out the oil pan

Your setup is not depended on FMU at all, it just takes the signal from same source as wastegate, bost gauge, etc.
I agree with viper, the life of fuel pump is the same as life of the bulb, if you go and do on/off/on/off on the switch regular bulb will burn in 24h , but if you just leave it on , it will last for a year. The fuel system is not something that I would around , I did intank Walbro and will do 36# for the begining(right after my HPT arrived)

For right now I dont really need the fmu but for my future purposes I got to pick one up cause I plan on running 15psi+ to 20psi...depending on the build of the motor...but we shall see after I pay a visit to the tuning doctor
