    i just got a 1986 firebird and my friend has a boniville ans he is giving me the supercharger to put on my v6 firebird. both v6 and what will i need and what will i need to do thanks steve

      wow are you serious.... there are a lot of things that go into adding a supercharger. Try seraching in this forum, with the search feature.

      1998 White Camaro 3800, A4, MagnaFlow Cat-Back, Zexel & 3.42's, Jet Chip Stage 2, Whisper Lid, and Ram Air.

        so let me get this right you are putting a 3.8L supercharger on a 86 v6 2.8L firebird?

        If so you should know this will not work

          there is a guy with a V6 s-10 that sells SC kits for the 2.8's

          he could help you out, he's on the 60*v6 forum (forgot the address)

            Your better off either boring and stroking that motor out to a 3.4 and putting aturbo on it or just getting a 3.8 out of a junk yard and put that charger on that and drop it in!!

              That's what I was thinking... even if you put a blower on a 2.8... I don't think you'll be completely safisfied. It would probably barely compete with a 200horse 3.8.

                If you're going to swap in a new motor for more power, why not just swap in a V8?

                  One thing about my 2.8 is that I save a lot of gas. It's about 10mpg more than my used to be stock 3.8.

                  There's some Fieros with 2.8 that are turbo and are making 220rwhp. That's actually not bad for a 135-140 stock engine.
