i am installing my turbo kit as i get time so if i install the FMU now will it cause any problems without having the turbo mounted? And where do you tie in your boost guage? At the turbo right? Just checking to be sure.

No it shouldn't be any problem. Your car has to go into boost for the FMU to work.

When I take my SC off for smog, I leave the FMU and I go about driving for months just like this.

Boost gauge-are you talking about the vacuum line? You can tie the vacuum line with the main vacuum at the very back.

no , will not cause any problems , you can go ahead(you actually should) install FMU, fuel pump , do PCV mod before you touch the turbo

run a vac line from a vac source on the intake manifold (or the side of the TB on angled TB cars) to the FMU. it has nothing to do with the plumbing of the turbo itself.
