    Re: need help fast...

i took the car for a drive today. its really really loud so i believe where the piping hooks up to the headers is leaking and maybe in a few other little places but where the oil line goes to the top of the turbo, it seems the pressure builds up and it starts to leak so im gonna hafto mess around and fix that...where the down pipe attatches to the turbo where the V band clamp is, its leaking a little bit of oil, is this normal? i got the car idling fine and it drives pretty good besides the minor oil leak and exhaust leaks i gotta fix. I did weld on piping to the exhaust down pipe and routed it going into my cat. converter and magnaflow exhaust also.

that is not normal...... it sound like you have to much oil my brand new turbo did that and i was like WTF.....

      1. the turbo is getting to much oil and you need a restrictor

      2. the turbo drian is to small.. get a big zie tube

      3. the turbo drain is not down hill and it can not drain, it gravity drian make shure it flows down hill the hole way to the pan

      4. where you taped the pan is to low....

      check 2 and 3 first

what do you mean i need a restrictor...and i think where my oil pan is tapped it is too low...its on the left side and about half way up....i couldnt get into the front to drill it at the highest point. if i drill it ALL the way at the top, will it work??

the oil drain line is 1/2"...and the feed line is 1/4"

my fuel pump will be here tomarrow.....but when my car idles, and when i take it for a spin my boost gauge always reads 0.....i have the vacum line from the gauge hooked up to the vacum line going to the FMU....would that keep it from working??

also just to double check my work.....

i have the Blow off valve, the FMU and the wastegate vacum lines all hooked into the same line which comes from the fuel pressure regulator. right or wrong???

                                Re: need help fast...

i wanna say thank you to everyone that helped me but im taking the turbo kit off and selling everything. i havent had anything but problems since the piping and im done with trying to get everything to work right.

the only way i will keep the turbo is if i can find a set of forward sweeping headers which i doubt will happen
