    :( :( :(

I've been watching your project since you bought your kit (I almost bought it myself). Sorry you're giving up before enjoying the fruits of your effort.

ok well i took off the turbo today to take it apart to see if theres a blown seal or something which would be why im getting so much oil out of my exhaust. i took off the intake side and the exhaust side housings. Now im left with the 2 propellers on each side with the oil fittings in the middle. On the exhaust side, under the propeller theres a metal Cup. That slids side to side and is very very loose, would that be why im getting so much oil? i havent even really driven my car yet and the turbo hasto be rebuilt already >:0

              Re: need help fast...

I'm pretty sure the idling problem is from the MAF sensor. Mine has been doing the same thing for almost a year now. I can't let the car idle for long periods or time or it will stall. If I adjust the intake pipe a little bit, it goes away. Since the pipe is bent up in 180degrees by the intake, it messes up the airflow. So, I'm getting a new intercooler pipe made up soon.

Sucks that you are quitting though. From what I read, it doesn't seem like you have that much left to do. You are almost there.

No, he meant "clock" the turbo , you already did it by now also your oil feed line has to be on the top , and drain on the bottom , make sure that its not more than 15* off. If you are getting too much oil and your drain is fine , use a resistor in the oil feed, that would fix the problem.

                  Re: need help fast...

tomarrow im gonna give it one last chance to get everything running right. I talked to my friend and he explained it to me about the turbo. He said i had to rotate the turbo shaft so the oil drain is at the top and oil feed is at the bottom of how it was hooked up before. then i just hook up the oil feed to the top and oil drain to the bottom. Hopefully this solves it

read my post , Oil feed on the TOP , Oil drain on the BOTTOM , I dont know how did you figured out to put it upside down.. It has to be close to perfect vertical too.

                    tomOrrow get this fixed.

                      Re: need help fast...

i know thats what im talking about, the oil feed ontop and oil drain on bottom. what im saying is on the turbo, they are REVERSED which is why im getting all the oil out of my exhaust. My friend got his turbo from the same company and it did the same exact thing mine did so he sent it back. They sent him a new one and it was still doing the same thing with all the oil out the exhaust. So he called them up and they explained to him that the way it came was that the oil feed was really on the bottom, and the oil drain was really at the top so u hafto rotate it to correct it, do you understand what i mean? i know its a hard thing to explain. Tomarrow im gonna try to get everything fixed.

Yes I do , Its called 'clocking' im surprised that you made it fit without doing that. that will def fix oil problem.

loose 6 bolts(1/2") on the turbine and 6 bolts(1/2") on the compessor , so you can rotate all 3 parts the way you need.
(small hole- feed line to the top, the big one to the bottom and to the pan)

post some pics of your progress, would be easier for all of us.

i would post some pics but i dont know how too on this site and my digital camera really sucks

also, when i had everything hooked up a few days ago and took her for a drive, my boost gauge was reading 0...at idle it reads 0. My BOV wasnt working nor was my wastegate either. This is when i had everything T'd into the vaccum line that goes INTO the fuel pressure regulator which i also have my FMU line ran into. After i thought maybe that vaccum lines itself isnt big enough in diameter to affect everything so i changed the wastegate and BOV lines over to the line going into the TB for the idle control. Is this line gonna be good enough?? where do you have your fmu, bov, boost gauge and wastegate hooked up too?? if this helps its a HKS external wastegate
