    Re: need help fast...

yah well i brought it to monro muffler and they said they couldnt do the piping...so im out of luck there however when i brought it back from the muffler place, my oil is a cream color now??? why? my dad said it could be a head gasket??

i took off the trottle body and there was coolant all in my throttle body and intake piping. So this hasto do with why theres anti freeze in my oil and not a head problem...should i keep the coolant passage in the TB blocked or leave it open??

cream=coolant in oil. I left my bypass alone because temperature here does go below -40 sometimes. Headgasket is usually the last thing that leaks. manifold and lower plenum usualy leak before HG.
Block just pcv hole and if you wouldnt be satisfied with your intake temperatures and everythin would be in working order , than you can block it.

Sounds like coolant was getting past the tb gasket.

Something caught between the tb and intake, bad gasket, or not torqued down properly.

            Re: need help fast...

alright it seems that theres no more coolant leaking into my oil so thats fixed but i have a quick question....

when im idleing my boost gauge says -20 vacuum...i know this is normal

when im driving just cruising it goes to like -10 vacuum....when i step on it it does jump to boost tho

is it suposed to be in vacuum when im driving?? i thought it was suposed to sit at 0 untill you hit boost

yes , everything seems to be normal.
you should understand , if its 0 your turbo already produce like 10 psi.( thats what the pressure drop is for NA)

so what your saying is that when i step on it...and it goes from -10 vacuum up to +5 boost....its 15 PSI ?? im confused on what you mean

                  Re: need help fast...

If you had no turbo, you'd see the gauge go from -20 at idle, to nearly zero at wot.

But with the turbo, you'll probably never see it at zero, because at those engine loads/throttle settings that it takes to bring the vacuum to zero, you'll be making boost already.

you should understand your gauge. 0psi on gauge mean that engine have reached atmospheric pressure behind trottle body, which is impossible on NA car because of intake restrictions. So if you at 0psi , you got to have something pushing the air inside. I wonder what that would be?

                      ohhhh I know... a turbo!!!

I actually did not know about that though. Makes sense when you put it in the context of how a combustion engine works and how a turbo works though.
