i need info on turbo

i got a 01 firebird and i want a turbo kit but i also still want to be safe in emissions the only thing i got so far is a out line in how i would put the turbo some help, i love my car to the max but i hate when people tell me i cant put a turbo or any performance parts in my firebird

There are a TON of mods you can do for your car, dont let anyone tell you otherwirse. Just read the stickies at the top of the sections and run a few searches. If you have any specific questions just ask.

To answer your question though, nobody makes a kit for the v6 f-body. People who do have a turbo kit, have got them from a company called Forced Fed Fabrications who custom makes them. There is a link in the sticky. However, RKSport makes a supercharger specifically for our cars for about $3800.

thanks for the boost the only thing that i want to know is am i going to be safe in the emmison part that is my main probblem right now if i put a turbo on the car

I dont see any reason why your emissions would be different. Just as long as you get legal exhaust and catalytic converter you should be fine.

ok then, now i need to know the things that i will need for the whole turbo assembly and places that i can get them, also am i going to need a stand alone system or a piggyback for the car and the proper softwear
