Re: turbo question
First of all the turbo you are installing from the truck may be too big for your 3.4. Please list all current mods.
You can run a turbo safely without upgrades at around 5lbs of boost, 18-20 is extremely risky even with upgraded internals as the L36 was not an engine made to handle boost. A general "safe" level is usually from 7-10 psi. upgrades would be recomended, I did heads, cam, rods, rollers, 65# Injectors, double timing, MLS gaskets. There are a lot of mods to consider before setting a boost goal. So first off bring your boost goal way down. Find someone to make you pipes for the turbo, FFF? and give trim sizes of the turbo if possible.

Re: turbo question
The only reply i'm going to make to this is that it should be in the "Forced Induction" section.Black \'94 Trans Am A4- SLP CAI & Loudmouth<br />Red \'93 Firebird A4- Ram Air under the WS6 hood, !cat, exhaust.

Re: turbo question
rite now all i have done is wires, cold air, and exhaust, but before i plan on turboing it i was going do heads, intake plenum, fuel rails, and injectors. i figured the turbo was going to generate too much boost, and i knew lag would be a problem its ok though i got it for free:) . thanks for the input
