 That's right, today I made a final decision for my cars turbo and it is a T - 70 Ceramic ball bearing Ptrim turbo with .70 A/R. WHEW! Abott heads are already in transit and all other pieces I already have in my room....Install is coming up soooo soon, then off to the dyno for 400+ rwhp !!!

I still have the option of goig .86 A/R, what do you think? Should spool up quick either way, maybe a bit more of a punch with the .86?

          :stp:
I decided to get the turbonetic t62-1 with .68 a/r exhaust; according to turbonetics' "turbo matrix" chart, that's good for up to 500 hp.
realistically, I'm only looking to get a bit over 300 on my car. lots of work to be done still.

I may have Corky's crew fab the pipe fittings and turbo manifold, since he's closer than Tiago. http://www.bellengineering.net/

Do you mean a .68 A/R? and fully spooled will suggest you are at your target boost by 2500RPM!?!?
            care to clarify!?!?

                3.4L or 3.8?

btw.. what's the differences in the RPM band between the two?

i have a 3.8L, not sure what you are referring to in tersm of RPM band .. between the turbo's? or the 3.4 and 3.8l? if it's the engine size, i'm pretty sure they have the same rpm range ha ha if it's the turbo size.. .68 and .86 i'd say you'd only start seeing boost around 3500 with the larger size turbo.. plus on my .68 i could have full boost anywhere between 2700-3200 depending on how hard you give 'er

I guess what I was asking is, does the 3.8 rev higher than the 3.4?

correction, it is .84 A/R on the hot side. and trust me, (CERAMIC BALL BEARING, heads, cam, 1.7 rockers, 65# injectors, etc etc.) this baby will spool up just fine.

Stattamma Stg 3 turbo cam. and the 1.7's. I really didnt see an issue with the spool I mean I could still scale it back, it hasnt been shipped yet cause of the weekend.
