      UPDATE AGAIN:
changed the filter and the problem is still there. :( my fuel gauge reads 39-40 at idle and about 50-52 at WOT. whats next to do/try?
Yeah, like I said that I doubt your Fuel Filter to be the culprit. I guess the next thing would injectors and fuel pump.

I don't think injectors would lock up on you. Like I said try removing the SC head unit only and see how the car runs without it. You can still see the FP guage giving some reading but the boost gauge will never go to positive pressure. See if the car will still stumble.

Do you have a OBDII scanner? This could be another thing to try. Put a paper clip in that module and force that SES light on and see if you can get a reading with that scanner.

also i have a bad rattle at idle. i replaced the idler pulley when i installed the supercharger because the kit didnt have one so i went and bought a ribbed one. could that be the issue? i cant tell whats making the noise!?

Idler don't usually rattle, unless loose, rather they squeak. But it's a good idea to have a smooth pulley anyway.

A little bit of rattling on the SC is somewhat normal. This is due to the SC running on a smooth pulley. If it's a ribbed one it would be more secure.

Just make sure that the bracket's bolts are tight and they are balance. Use a washer if they need to be balanced, or better yet use those rubber washers.

Expect to have 2 to 3 sounds different sounds from the SC: a whistle, a rattle and a sound of air.

What's your UPDATE? Have you taken out the SC to see if the FP would give out the same reading? I have a feeling that it will. This is why I recommend a professional shop to check all the FP connection, the FMU connection, and the Fuel pump. Good Luck.

By the way you do need a tensioner. Can I see a pic of your engine bay again?

so your NOT supposed to use a ribbed idler pulley?

Nevermind, you do have a tensioner. Ribbed pulley wouldn't hurt you but it's a good idea to have a smooth one in the future.

                    Re: car is back running

when me and brandon installed it he was suprised that i didnt get a ribbed pulley in my kit so i went and bought one and stuck it on, it kind of makes sense.

im getting a dyno tomorrow AM!

You might not yeild good result. You need to iron out that bug concerning your fuel. But in a way this would be a good way to see what your air/fuel reading is.

**Hey Dave, I have to apologize. After looking at your pics it dawned on me I made a mistake that idler pulley is suppose to be ribbed. I got the idler and tensioner all mixed up. Yes, idler is suppose to be ribbed. I can't believe I wasted half of the posts saying that it's suppose to be smooth. Again, idler pulley is ribbed. Sorry.**

haha its cool. and yes, im hoping the dyno will help me with the A/F ratios to see how bad it is.

p.s. i want to upgrade pump and injectors down the road. i know to get the walbro pump. but what about injectors and where do i buy them? are they hard to install?
