so ive been doing some research on here and have decided to go supercharged over turbo for a few reasons, mainly the fact that i have a complete exhaust system w/ headers and dont want to redo all of it, and am not looking to create crazy power. i would like to be able to put down around 275 at the wheels. but would this be possible with a powerdyne on factory internals? from what i have read it seems to be. would i just need to make sure i get a good tune on it? perhaps bigger injectors, etc? any information you could throw my way would be appreciated. i think the rest of the car is ready for it as long as motor internals dont need to be changed. its a 97 camaro A4 with a 2000 firehawk rear end w/ zex-torsen, 3.42s, rear discs, the front rotors and calipers from that firehawk up front, one piece drive shaft, pace setters, 3" exhaust w/ high flow cat and hooker muffler, slp cold air, manual fan switches...

Re: supercharger questions
If you want 275 rwhp you will probably need more than just 6 psi. More like 9-10 psi from what I am told. Then you would need bigger injectors and/or new fuel pump. Deffinately a good tune too, that can make a world of difference.sigpic

Re: supercharger questions
yeah i figured i might have to get another pulley. and i plan on buying HP tuners. 275 is my goal though and im mainly concerned about the valvetrain and engine internals. i am willing to go for bigger injectors and a new fuel pump and stuff. wide band o2 sensors and an air fuel gauge, boost gauge, all that. i just wanted some opinions on a setup from some other S/C guys/gals. thanks for all your help

Re: supercharger questions
there is a 6psi camaro on ftv6 that has 270 rwhp, but he had a lot of tuning done as well as supporting fuel mods (pump, inejctors, etc), but anything more than that youd need a smaller pulley like 9psi.Dave:
