I know I have the STS kit on my car but I do wonder about this....I look at the kit and I see you can adapt the s/c to run with the whisper lid but if you put a intercooler in the front that goes in and out the same direction like the one Tiago used on his 3.4 v6 I believe...cant you route the piping back up to the intake with out having anyother issues. Would this help out any at all?
I was also thinking about the vortech intercooler system cause I know there might be a way to adapt that as well....any thoughts?
I had he intercooler mounted at the bottom of the radiator it was a 36"x3"x6" intercoler. THe problem was I lost 3 psi putting on the intercooler and it seeemed like it was working the hell out of the supercharher. the head unit would heat up really fast and I thought I could smell the belt burning, not the driveline but the internal powerdyne belt. I didn't gt any pics because I only had it on for 2 wees testing it out.

really you lost 3 psi....what was the drop on it? Really interesting.....I would assume that it would drop the s/c down in psi but would increase in power because of the intercooler...how about the vortech intercooler...I think that would be better then a FMIC....
it was a good drop in psi and the car felt slower, I think it would of burnt up the bearings and intrnal belt in no time. if your looking to lower intake temps I would go with water injection with a powerdyne. i think vortech and procharger use gears instead of belts thats why they don't bleed off the psi.

GO CHEMICAL!!! I use Snow performances water meth injection kit. Check it out at snowperformance.net. Much better than an intercooler and saves space and weight and easily modified as you add more boost....
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
